AIKitchen is a proof-of-concept project built with Open WebUI and open-source large language models (LLMs) like DeepSeek and Qwen.

Our goals for this project are twofold:

1. Deliver A Powerful, Alternative LLM Platform
   Deploy an intuitive web application using off-the-shelf open source components (Open WebUI, Kokoro TTS, etc.) to demonstrate that community-driven solutions can rival corporate platforms in terms usability, quality, and accessibility.
2. Decentralize AI Ownership
   Demonstrate that regional actors can govern advanced AI systems and challenge the dominance of corporate and centralized control over AI.

By advancing AIKitchen, we champion a future where AI tech is driven by open collaboration, shared resources, and grassroot needs rather than corporate agendas. This initiative reimagines AI as a public good — transparent, adaptable, and firmly in the hands of its users.

While search engines offer powerful operators, they can be cumbersome compared to the intuitive experience of natural language and LLMs. Despite advancements in AI, major search platforms have yet to fully integrate these technologies, often relying on traditional methods with occasional AI-generated snippets atop search results.

AISearch demonstrates a more seamless fusion of AI and web search by utilizing open-source tools like Perplexica. Compared to traditional web search, this approach offers a more intuitive, transparent, and reliable search experience and highlights the potential of combining standard search methodologies with modern AI capabilities.

AIDocs is a proof of concept project that aims to make accessible the power of chatting with your documents. With this tool small research teams and independent investigators can obtain powerful insights and find new avenues of research to pursue. This is the goal for AIDocs: Intuitive AI-driven document analysis without the complexities of typical RAG systems.
